About Three Lady Logic
What’s in a name? A lot, if you’re naming a children’s book. What about a company name? Same thing. I get asked quite often where my company name Three Lady Logic came from.
Well, here’s the story:
Several years ago, before I began writing and while my two daughters were quite young, a good friend of mine loved telling me exactly what I had in store based upon the exploits of his teenage daughters. Later, as my daughters were entering their teenage years, I mentioned to him that my household of a wife and two teenage girls was getting more than a bit confusing. He sagely replied, “With three ladies, there is no logic.” And a company was born.
About Arlen Cohn
As I read the jacket flaps about other children’s authors, I often find a list of experiences or childhood ambitions to write and publish stories.
I had no such aspirations.
For me, it was a wonderful path of fun and happenstance that led me to my first story, Eric Van Noodle, followed by Friends of a Feather, and onward through the next five books. The result is my love of rhyming tales of whimsy and delight—hopefully, with a little lesson as well.
I live in Parker, Colorado with my wife and two dogs. My daughters and grandchildren are always close by as I continue to search for the
logic to this day.
