I have had the opportunity to read many books to my children and grandchildren. Occasionally, I have encountered one that is not only enjoyable to my listeners but to me as well. Arlen’s Eric Van Noodle is one of those rare reads that has such an effect. Rhymes that are delightful for my listeners but exciting and sophisticated enough to capture my interest as well. But even better is the story told by this book (and his others as well). Kids learn a life lesson while enjoying the delight of his rhymes. Arlen is the best and most intriguing storyteller since Dr. Seuss. Please write more before my grandkids start dating and are not as available to me.
